The streaming giants have already refreshed their libraries for February and looking at them, it can be said that both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video want their users to spend more and more time on their platform. They have added a lot of binge-watching options.
For Prime Video users the month will kick off with Agatha Christie’s The ABC Murders, whereas Netflix users will have American Pie and Jaw movie franchises. Though, we will be picking the best options for you to watch on the platforms this February. Have a look!
The ABC Murders (Amazon Prime Video)
The second of three dramatic series adaptations, Agatha Christie’s The ABC Murders from Agatha Christie Limited is coming to Prime Video this February.
The original Prime Video series is set in 1933 where a serial killer who uses his alias ABC to murder people using a methodical procedure, whereas, an investigator named Poirot tries to take him down.

American Pie (Netflix)
The teen adult comedy’s first part is arriving on Netflix to kick off February. The film follows five best friends, Jim, Oz, Kevin, Finch, and Stifler, who want to lose their virginity before graduating from high school.
The film stars Jason Biggs, Chris Klein, Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Ian Nicholas, and Eddie Kaye Thomas.
Just Add Magic (Prime Video)

As the title suggests, this comedy special by Kevin Hart will revolve around Black History. This entertaining flick will shine the spotlight on some of the unsung and lesser-known Black heroes who contributed to the history of African-American people.
Not only the people but also some of the moments from the past will be captured in this two-hour long comedy special by Kevin Hart.
White Dragon (Amazon Prime Video)
This Amazon Prime Video original will air this February adding the crime thriller genre into the library. The show follows a professor who travels to Hong Kong in order to uncover the mystery of his wife.
While traveling the streets, he realizes that the death of his wife is an extraordinary criminal case. The show is a crime thriller and will feature a lot of bitter truths about life that we all choose not to swallow. The show stars John Simm.

High Flying Bird (Netflix)
This Netflix film starring Castle Rock star Andre Holland. The movie tells the story of an NBA agent who pitches one of his clients on a controversial business deal that takes place during NBA lockout.

Lorena (Prime Video)
As I said before, Prime Video is now looking to expand its crime thriller genre. So, to add more flavor to it, they are coming up original docu-series, Lorena by Jordan Peele.
The show will tell the infamous crime story of Lorena Bobbitt and how it became a cultural phenomenon. If you are unaware of Lorena, then let me tell you that she cut off her husband’s private part because of domestic and sexual assault.

Ken Jeong: You Complete Me, Ho (Netflix)
You may know Ken Jeong as Leslie Chow from The Hangover franchise, but the actor is also known for stand-up comedy. This time he is coming with a standup comedy special for Netflix where he goes back to the place which gave him his first opportunity and that’s the Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, California.
During the special, he will reflect on how he switched career from a doctor to an actor and how he landed the role in The Hangover during his wife’s battle with cancer.

Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G. (Netflix)
Finally, the last but one of my favorite ones on the list. The USA Network’s crime anthology series deals with the infamous murders of Tupac Amaru Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G.
The show follows the investigation that Detective Russell Poole does after the death of Biggie in 1997. And, the reopening of the case by Detective Greg Kading in 2007. There are also flashbacks of how Tupac and Biggie were friends and then became enemies.
