Avengers 4! I don’t think there is any other movie that is being anticipated in the manner people are waiting for this Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. The trailer of the movie is expected to arrive anytime soon and I am sure it will be another banger from the Russo Brothers.
The movie will hit the theatres on 3 May 2019 (USA) and fans are excited to see what the left superheroes can do to bring down Thanos. Even one of the descriptions of the film said that the film will be bigger than Thanos and that’s a very bold statement. And, if this is the case then expect some more villains to jump in the fight. But, who are those? Well, that’s the question which I am going to answer in this story.
Villains Expected To Appear In The Avengers 4
Avengers 4 will be the end of the current generation of MCU and it will also mark the end of journeys of some of your favorite superheroes. But, we can’t do anything about it.
The end is inevitable and it will arrive. But, the question is – how will things end for Marvel Cinematic Universe’s superheroes? The question will remain until the film arrives in theatres.
For now, let us take a look at the villains who may go against The Avengers other than Thanos. You know it very well that the timeline of the movie will not be steady and there are high chances of older villains coming back to life.
Loki
Loki’s end in the Avengers: Infinity War was quite painful to witness. I am still not sure like many other MCU fans by the way he died from the hands of mighty mad Titan, Thanos.
Though, he will be one of those villains who will be coming back to life. Wondering about the reason? Well, it’s quite simple as the movie will go back to famous New York City from The Avengers (2012) and that’s where we will see Loki make his return.
And other than that, he is also expected to help the superheroes in fighting Thanos. But, I don’t think anyone can guess what goes in the mind of God of Mischief.

Annihilus
Ahh, the most probable name that you would’ve expected to be on the list. Well, the talks of Annihilus being in the movie is going on since a long time and that became much stronger when it was revealed that the film could be called Avengers: Annihilation.
Though, the biggest contradicting thing for me is that in the comics, Annihilus has been the primary villain of Fantastic Four. And as we all are aware, Fantastic Four will not be in the movie. So it is quite skeptical.
Ronan The Accuser
This Guardians of the Galaxy villain is not yet dead. He is expected to come back and that too stronger than ever. The villain made his first appearance in the Guardians movie. Though he was killed by Peter Quill and his teammates, there is more left in the tank.
The supervillain is one of the closest people to Thanos as we saw in GOTG 1. Ronan went on to secure the Power Orb so that Thanos could help him defeat Xandar. So, I think it is the time for Ronan to give back to his master by laying a helping hand towards him.

Skrulls
I don’t think I need to explain this one. Yeah, I can if you want me to. So, the Skrulls will be making their awaited appearance in Captain Marvel, which will arrive in the theatres just before Avengers: Infinity War. So, why I think they would come back? Well, there’s an interesting theory behind it.
According to many fans, the fictional race will be coming to the movie when Captain Marvel arrives because they would love to go against her after their first defeat and settle the scores. Though, we know Captain Marvel in Marvel Comics is just like Superman in the DC Comics.
Red Skull
Do I need to add him to the article? Well, yes, I do because he is the villain and he will definitely come back after his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War.
Yes, I am not saying, he will be making his comeback to harm the superheroes, but who knows? I mean, he has the potential to literally play with the minds of Steve Rogers and his friend, Bucky aka The Winter Soldier.
For this, we will have to wait and watch what he does. Though I am bending my marvels on Red Skull to do something out of the box and unbelievable.

The Collector
I am not sure if The Collector would be in favor of Thanos, but he is still a villain and his presence in the Avengers 4 looks inevitable.
He first made his appearance in Thor: The Dark World, though, he was heavily involved in GOTG. He has shared the similar vision to Thanos of collecting the Infinity Stones in comics and he might do something similar in the MCU. Though, only time will tell if this is true.
Well, that’s all, for now! I am not sure who among them will be excluded from the film because they all are the important part of the MCU except Annihilus, but his chances are also high.
For now, we can wait for the trailer that will be dropping soon. Till then, let’s think what can happen!
