Apple is estimated to be investing a couple of billion dollars over in 2019 on the progress of exclusive creative programming for Apple TV+.

What can you have for a couple of billion dollars?

Well, Apple expects to appeal to some of the most beautiful geniuses in TV and film management, consisting of massive stars and directors to engage down the television and film rights to best-selling novels.

That’s a lot of TV! Though it’s nothing matched to Netflix’s expense on the matter but it’s still a significant expense.

TV Shows Coming To Apple TV+

Dickinson

Apple is offering a comic twist on the story of Emily Dickinson, with a sequence that will star True Grit’s, Hailee Steinfeld.

Apple has further indicated 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski will play Mrs. Dickinson, Emily Dickinson’s mother. While not spoken by name, the program came onscreen big times.


The Morning Show

Friday Night Lights’ Kerry Ehrin will perform as showrunner, writer and leader producer for a set about morning show anchors starring Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, and Steve Carell.

Apple got a bidding war for the production, which will have two 10-episode seasons. Carell will be preparing his return to box as the male head and morning show anchor, Mitch Kessler, it was reported at the Apple event.

Defending Jacob

Chris Evans (aka Captain America) will be the chief producer in Defending Jacob, based on the tale by William Landay.

The show is a felony riddle about a father whose teenage son is cited in murder. The play will be set up, written and executive produced by Mark Bomback (screenwriter for the Planet of the Apes trilogy).

Central Park

Central Park is an animated musical humor series from the architect of Bob’s Burgers, Loren Bouchard. The course was co-written with Nora Smith and actor Josh Gad, who will present a role in the drama along with Kristen Bell, Leslie Odom Jr, Titus Burgess, Daveed Diggs, Stanley Tucci, and Kathryn Hahn.

According to reports, the project is being plucked up for two periods and is about a group of Central Park caretakers who end up saving the world.

Amazing Stories

Apple has collaborated with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television and NBC Universal to serve us a 10-episode reset of the anthology series Amazing Stories.

Bryan Fuller was initially being brought in as chief producer and showrunner. He’s since walked down and been taken over by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, best noted for their performance in Lost and Once Upon a Time.


Snoopy In Space

Apple TV+ is targeted towards whole family so they are also looking for TV Shows targeted towards kids in the house. Snoopy in Space will be the first of the kids shows to stream on Apple TV+

There is no introduction needed for Snoopy and this tale will show his dream of becoming an astronaut of NASA. Will snoopy be able to fulfill his dream and experience the space travel?

Little Voice

J.J. Abrams is executive producing a half-hour musical dramedy with songs penned by Sara Bareilles. Depending on your patience for musicals, this project may or may not receive like limbo.

Abrams and Bareilles spoke at Apple’s appearance to bring more background on the show, and Bareilles played the theme song for the forthcoming series.

Foundation

Apple has secured the rights to Foundation, a variation of Isaac Asimov’s sci-fi novel series. “The premise, presented as directly as feasible with such an enormous and significant series, deals with the conservation of learning before an approaching dark age,” writes Erin Carson.

She further mentions that the series takes place from Skydance Television, which is capable for shows such as Amazon’s Jack Ryan and Netflix’s Altered Carbon. The course will be brought by Josh Friedman, the guy behind Terminator series, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and David Goyer, co-writer of Dark Knight films and other superhero flicks.

Truth Be Told

Based on a novella by Kathleen Barber about crime podcasts, this production, according to Variety, will star Octavia Spencer, along with Aaron Paul, Lizzy Caplan, Elizabeth Perkins, and Mekhi Phifer.

It’s being co-developed by Spencer’s production company Orit Entertainment, Reese Witherspoon’s company Hello Sunshine and Chernin Entertainment. It wasn’t brought up on stage, but Spencer featured in the filmmakers short (above), and Caplan and Paul were presented in the trailer montage.


Untitled Brie Larson drama series

Captain Marvel star Brie Larson will executive produce and star in a production series about a CIA undercover officer. The drama is based on Amaryllis Fox’s memoir Life Undercover: Growing of Age in the CIA.

Megan Martin, the chief producer, and writer for TNT’s Animal Kingdom are in eventual agreements to write and execute produce the course.

Little America

Fresh after their big indie hit, The Big Sick, companion-and-wife team Kumail Nanjiani and Emily v. Gordon to co-write and develop a new half-hour anthology series about immigrants called Little America.

They will share writing tasks with Lee Eisenberg, who will work as showrunner. Alan Yang, recognized as the co-creator of Master of None together with Aziz Ansari, will also executive produce the program.

It will be based on the typical features of immigrants, many of which were published in Epic Magazine’s Little America run. It will concentrate not on the vast famous immigrants that have carried out a worldwide impact, but the ordinary lives and conflicts that we all share.

“These are individual dramas that feature immigrants,” explained Nanjiani.
